The Arm/Leg Shearing Sleeve is a simple sleeve which is made from cotton Lycra. It is a comfortable snug fitting sleeve. It helps prevent the skin from shearing and getting minor cuts. The Sleeve is very lightweight and you can wear it under long sleeved shirts or trousers.

Gently place the sleeve over the arm or leg. For the arm, position it with the material flap over the back of the hand and the elastic across the palm of the hand to help hold the flap in position. The sleeve may extend beyond the elbow or fold the end over to make the sleeve shorter.

If you need some extra protection over a particular area of the arm, place some padding between the arm and the sleeve. Always inspect the arm for an adverse reaction to the patient continually wearing the Arm/Leg Shearing Sleeve.

Product Specifications

Cleaning Wash up to 80°C (176°F). Air or tumble dry on a cool setting, ensuring the drum is cool. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
