RoMedic Vega505EE Patient Lifter

The RoMedic Vega is a mobile patient lift adapted for safe and easy lifting of users weighing up to 230 kg. It features a unique design with a lift arm that can be both raised to an almost upright position and lowered all the way down to the floor. In addition, the mast is split in two and the handle bars are integrated in the mast. This design, which we call the V-concept, offers a number of advantages, both for the caregiver and the user. Vega features unique, ergonomic handle bars integrated in the mast. The grip-friendly handle bars offer multiple hand placement options and heights, allowing the caregiver to work more conveniently and comfortably and in an ergonomically correct manner. The design also provides intuitive properties, making the manoeuvring of the lift natural and easy. Furthermore, the split mast, which signifies the V-concept, offers a new location, in the mast, for the actuator and control-box, which, in turn, provides more space and improved comfort, both for the user and the caregiver.

The ergonomic and easy-to-use hand control has clearly marked buttons for lifting and lowering and for electric base widening. All motion stops as soon as the buttons are released. The emergency stop button is readily available on the control box. Vega also features both manual and electrical emergency lowering.
